What is the healthiest Mexican food to eat?
Fresh pico de gallo and ceviche are great healthy starters and fajitas make an excellent choice for the main with protein and veggies but we recommend holding the cheese, limiting the number of tortillas or opting to serve over a bed of lettuce.
How can you make tacos healthy?
You can try wrapping tacos in lettuce leaves for a fresh, low calorie, low carb way of eating tacos. If the idea of ditching the taco wraps feels too extreme, we recommend taking a look at the toppings and opting for low calorie options such as Gran Luchito salsa (@25 calories for 100g) or making a fresh pico de gallo.
What is a low calorie Mexican meal?
