What are some typical quick Mexican lunch ideas?
As lunchtimes in the UK tend to be no more than an hour long, we need quick and easy options. Using Mexican as inpriation, you can make any type of quesadilla, burrito, or taco for lunch - check out our recipes! Our Mexican Salad is also a good option. Or make a big batch of our Mexican Chicken Soup one evening to have for lunches that week.

Lunch is the main meal of the day and often includes two courses. The first course is usually a salad or soup, referred to as consume. This is usually followed by a main course of meat, chicken or seafood served with rice, beans and corn tortillas.
What time is lunch in Mexico?
Lunch (Comida) is anywhere from 2 to 5pm, with a light dinner around 7pm. Their lunches are much heavier and a longer affair than ours, not to mention quite a bit later in the day.
