These black bean burritos are the perfect working from home lunch. They are quick to prepare and healthy, which will keep you going during the day.

We recommend you use pre-cooked steamed white rice, ready to be warmed up and served on your burritos. Alternatively, you can use our recipe for Mexican rice.

Our Gran Luchito Cantina Beans are delicious and Gran Luchito has done all the work for you! There is no need to soak any beans overnight or to cook them for a long time. Just pour the beans into a saucepan and warm them up over medium heat and that’s it, they are ready to be served and enjoyed!

Gran Luchito squeeze sauces are great for burritos. For this recipe we used a good squeeze of Gran Luchito Creamy Jalapeno Sauce, keep it on the side as you’ll be adding more as you go along.

How to make it

  1. Heat the Cantina Beans in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Get all your burrito toppings ready on the side and warm up the burrito wrap over a hot pan for a minute or two on both sides.
  3. Once your wrap is warm, place it over your kitchen counter and add a spoonful of steamed white rice, a generous amount of cantina beans, a spoonful of guacamole, sour cream, a sprinkle or coriander and finish it with a good squeeze of creamy jalapeno sauce. Wrap and enjoy!
