Gran Luchito Mexican
Mexican food has a reputation for being spicy, but it has a wide range of flavours and while many spices are used for cooking, not all are spicy. Many dishes also have subtle flavours, loved for their flavours and not just their heat.
A lot of the components used in Mexican food are not spicy. Beans, corn, rice, tortillas, sauces, herbs, cheese and most vegetables used aren't, as well as plenty of spices. There are many variations of mild tacos, enchiladas, and quesadillas that don't have heat, and if you're making them at home, recipes can be adapted.
Yes! Many milk-based products contain a protein called casein, which can help break down capsaicin, an oily chemical compound in chilli peppers. Since capsaicin is fat-soluble, rinsing with milk fat helps ease the burn. For more on this check out our blog on How To Cool Down Spicy Food!
Our Steak Fajitas, Chicken Quesadilla, Fish Tacos and Carne Asada Tacos are most popular. Others include our side dishes such as Pico de Gallo, Guacamole and Mexican Rice.
