Can vegans eat Mexican beans?

Beans are a staple ingredient in lots of Mexican dishes and the good news is they’re vegan friendly. The most common beans are pinto and black beans, both of which are super yummy and can be used in burritos, quesadillas and many more dishes. Try Gran Luchito’s Cantina Black Beans which make excellent fillings for vegan burritos, tacos and enchiladas. For any Chipotle lovers out there, our Chipotle Refried Beans will hit the spot, and are excellent layered over nachos or stuffed in burritos and tacos.

Is Mexican rice vegan-friendly?

It’s not uncommon for stock to be added to Mexican rice so we’d recommend double-checking whether the recipe is vegan-friendly before proceeding. We’ve developed our own Mexican rice recipe that can be easily adapted so it is 100% vegan.
