One of the best accompaniments to a fish taco is a fresh and spicy salad, such as Pico De Gallo. Pair it with our recipe for Whole Fish Mexican Style, and be transported straight to the Pacific Coast of Mexico!
Another idea is to make a crunchy veg salad like this recipe for Mexican Coleslaw. It goes well inside classic Fish Tacos but would work with most Mexican fish recipes adding texture and tons of flavour.

Gran Luchito Mexican
Mexican fish is usually served with any of the following: soft flour tortillas, Mexican rice, pico de gallo, crunchy coleslaw, guacamole, perhaps a fresh bean salad or some stuffed roasted poblano peppers.
Make sure it's stored in an airtight container or bag and you can freeze it for up to 8 months before it starts to lose its flavour and texture. Only freeze cooked fish if it's been out for no more than 2 hours to avoid contamination.
How it is cooked and served! Special marinades and certain spices are used to add flavour to the fish, it is then cooked and served Mexican style. Usually in soft flour tortillas, or with side dishes such as rice, beans and fresh pico de gallo.

Usually, the fish is marinated and then either fried in a bit of oil, or baked.
