Why Can Your Jars Be Hard To Open?
Our salsa jars can sometimes be a little hard to open. The problem results from the Salsa being made in Mexico which is 2,250 meters above sea level. When the jars arrive in the UK (which is pretty much at sea level) the difference in altitude creates a vacuum under the lid which makes the jars hard to open.
So How Do I Open Them?
The solution is to gently tap on the side of the lid. This creates a small dent, releasing the vacuum and the jar opens.
