This week at Gran Luchito we have Birria on the brain!

Birria is a slowly stewed meat cooked in an adobo sauce which is made with the roasted tomatoes, onions and garlic along with a dollop of smoky Gran Luchito Chipotle Paste and Mexican spices. For Birria Tacos the delicious, spicy consomé broth made from the cooking juices is then used to coat a Soft Taco Wrap which is filled with cheese and the Birria meat and it gets toasted in a pan until crispy. Topped with fresh chopped coriander and onion with a little side of consomé for dipping. A truly amazing and indulgent take on the taco you have to try at home if you can’t make it to Mexico!

We like to serve our Birria Tacos with sides of Mexican Corn and Mexican Coleslaw for some freshness.
