Spicy Esquites

Esquites is a Mexican street food classic. Charred corn tossed in a creamy, zingy dressing that’s completely addictive. We’ve built ours around our Spicy Taco Seasoning, which brings depth and warmth without overpowering the sweetness of the corn. Finish it with feta, spring onions, a squeeze of lime and a handful of coriander and you’ve got something that will genuinely upstage whatever’s coming off the grill.

Serve it as a topping for your tacos or pile it onto tortilla chips and let people get stuck in. However you serve it…make a big batch. People always want more.

How to make it

  • Cook corn on the cob on the BBQ until slightly charred.
  • Cut the corn from the cob once cooked.
  • Mix the corn with the Spicy Taco Seasoning, lime, and your creamy base.
  • Top with a handful of feta cheese, coriander and Jalapenos.
  • Serve as dip or as a topping for your tacos
